Annual 'Best of the Region' Awards
Every September we celebrate winners within 150 categories voted ‘best of the region’ through online and local media. This is a great networking opportunity open to all local businesses.
Annual Scholarships for High School Seniors
The GMSVCC raises funds throughout the year with matching funds offered from our sponsor, Amherst Label. We’ve averaged $3,000 per student award each year; one award for a student going into a traditional college program; one award going to a student going into a trade school.
Monthly Young Professionals Networking
Great unique monthly meet-up opportunities for upcoming business leaders. Like-minded professionals gather for fun during happy hour mixers at local establishments in collaboration with area chamber groups.
Weekly Referral Group
This is a low-cost weekly opportunity for Chamber members to develop deeper relationships with other business owners to learn more about each other’s businesses and provide referrals to each other; it is more formal and requires greater commitment than most other networking gatherings.
